Free Earring Wearing Mockup Images and Easy Compositing Guide
Hello, this is Kanahina 😊
Thank you to everyone who came here from X.
Today I will introduce a new way to use wearing mockup images that can help your handmade accessories look more convincing on minne and other stores. I will also share the earring mockup images I created.
Let’s start with the free download of one image.
✅ How to download the free image
If you repost the Handmade Park post on X and follow the account, you can receive one earring wearing mockup image for free. First, open the post below, then repost and follow.
After you have reposted and followed, please download the file from the link below. The zip file contains a JPG image. You may be able to unzip it on a smartphone, but downloading from a computer is usually easier.

🎨 Paid wearing mockup packs are now available
The paid packs on minne include more variations than the free image, and the credit text in the lower-right corner is not required. I refined each mockup through many trials, so I would be very happy if you purchase a pack when you find a style you like.
🌟 Important: how to buy on minne
These are sold as downloadable items on minne, so they cannot be purchased or downloaded from the minne smartphone app. Please access the minne page from a browser such as Safari or Chrome and log in. Because the JPG files are inside a zip file, using a computer may be more convenient. If the minne app opens automatically, copy the URL below and paste it into your browser.

| Free download | One wearing mockup image (JPG) | Instant download after reposting on X and following the account. Please keep the lower-right credit when possible. |
| Paid items on minne | Both ears included, so you can show either the right or left ear. No credit required. | On sale on minne. Because they cannot be purchased from the minne app, please log in from a browser. |
Try the free image first. If it feels useful, add more variation with the paid materials and show the appeal of your accessories more clearly.
📖 About these wearing mockup images
These mockup images were made so handmade artists can quickly place their own accessories onto a wearing photo. I generated the photos with AI, then corrected and finished them in Photoshop. These are digital JPG files, not printed paper materials shipped by mail.
✍️ Why I made them
“Wearing photos are necessary, but shooting them is hard.” “Existing materials look too pale and rarely show the right ear.” “Many images are too close-up and difficult to use.” “Printed sheets become worn after repeated pinning.” “Cut marks in paper bother me.” “I want to show expressions, outfits, and happy scenes too.” I listened to those concerns and focused on images that help customers imagine the happy future after wearing the accessory. You can print these images, but the main idea is to place your accessory photo onto the JPG wearing mockup and finish it as one product image. To reduce the workload for makers, my handmade-artist wife and I, a web designer, created them using AI and Photoshop. Only the images we were satisfied with in resolution, skin tone, and composition are offered for sale.
👀 Four improvements for handmade artists
[01] The “too pale” color problem
![[01] The problem of pale colors](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/2789/7582/files/description202510130855-7.jpg?v=1761231301)
Before: printed wearing images often looked pale, making texture hard to convey. Now: the midtones are adjusted for a natural skin tone, reducing the washed-out look and restoring texture.
[02] The lack of right-ear images
![[02] The problem of too few right-ear images](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/2789/7582/files/description202510130855-8.jpg?v=1761231301)
Before: most available photos showed only the left ear. Now: every paid set includes both ears, so it works for right-ear and left-ear presentation.
[03] More freedom to crop: wide, medium, or close
![[03] Flexible cropping: wide, medium, and close-up](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/2789/7582/files/description202510130855-9.jpg?v=1761231301)
Before: print-based photos fixed the composition. Now: because the images are over 3,000 px, makers can crop them wide, medium, or close as needed.
[04] Weak emotional scene setting
![[04] Creating a happier wearing scene](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/2789/7582/files/description202510130855-10.jpg?v=1761231301)
Before: only part of the face was visible, so the earring felt isolated. Now: the expression, outfit, and background create a scene that conveys aspiration and comfort.
✨ Easy 3-step compositing process
Once you have the mockup and your product photo ready, you can finish the image in about 5 to 10 minutes.
STEP 1: Photograph your product on a white background
Because the accessory needs to be cut out, shoot it from directly above on white paper or fabric. If you have a photo box, a top light plus straight-down shooting is easiest for background removal.
STEP 2: Remove the background
Use an app, software, or website to remove the background from your product photo. My recommended site is iLoveIMG. iLoveIMG
STEP 3: Place it on the mockup in an image editor
Open the wearing mockup in Canva, Photoshop, Figma, or another editor, then place the cut-out accessory image on top. For minne, a square image of 1280 px or larger is recommended. Crop the mockup to your preferred composition.
I have also included example images below for reference.

📄 Usage scope and credit
Commercial use is allowed for minne, Creema, your own online store, SNS, and print materials. For the free download image, please keep the credit in the lower-right corner when possible. Paid items sold on minne do not require credit.
⚠️ Prohibited uses
Redistribution or resale of the materials is prohibited, even after editing. Each file includes an identifier to prevent unauthorized distribution, so redistribution can be detected. Please do not share the files with third parties. Compositing with characters or celebrities, expressions that make the model appear to be a real person, and uses that infringe third-party rights are also prohibited.
🎯 Summary
Key points of this article: If you repost and follow on X, you can download one mockup for free and use it right away. You can create a wearing image in three easy steps. Paid mockups require no credit, include both ears, and offer more model variations. Start with the free download, try it out, and if you like it, consider the paid set on minne.
❓Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q.1How do I receive the free download?
-
A.1
After reposting the relevant post on X and following the account, you can download it immediately from the button on this page.
-
Q.2Can I use it commercially? Is credit required?
-
A.2
Commercial use is allowed. For the free download, please keep the lower-right credit when possible. For paid items on minne, no credit is required.
-
Q.3The shadow is strong and hard to cut out. Any shooting tips?
-
A.3
Place the accessory on white paper and diffuse the light with lace fabric or tracing paper. A photo box with top lighting and straight-down shooting works best.
-
Q.4Can I composite the image using only a smartphone?
-
A.4
Yes. Remove the background with iLoveIMG, layer the image in Canva or Photoshop, keep the shadow light, and match the color tone to the mockup for a natural finish.
-
Q.5How can I keep cropping flexibility for printing?
-
A.5
Most images leave more margin than ordinary materials, so you can crop them. However, I believe the cleanest presentation is to place your own accessory onto the JPG mockup.
-
Q.6How should I blend metal or transparent parts?
-
A.6
After a clean cutout, they usually blend well. For a more professional look, add a very soft shadow layer with Multiply at 10–20%, then slightly lower saturation and deepen shadows only on the metal parts.
-
Q.7Are there prohibited uses?
-
A.7
Redistribution and resale of the mockup images are not allowed. Uses against public order, misleading trademark-like use, and rights-infringing use are also prohibited.
-
Q.8What image size should I use?
-
A.8
For minne and SNS, a square image is usually fine. On minne, square images of 1280 px or larger look clean even on smartphones. Crop the mockup as you like.
-
Q.9What kinds of accessories work well?
-
A.9
For earrings, metal, resin, and bead designs all work. Large pieces may need size adjustment, while delicate pieces blend better with softer shadows.
-
Q.10Is one wearing image enough for a listing?
-
A.10
I recommend using several compositions. Even with the same mockup, changing the crop can show the background mood or make the accessory appear larger. Variations in expression, age, outfit, and season also help customers imagine a happier scene.
