Where to Read Adauchi Shofu: Free Volumes, Ebook Platforms, Review and Spoilers

A vow made after a murdered family
A story woven with love, friendship and revenge
Hello, this is Kanahina 😊
Since volume 11 is coming out in June 2026, I have updated this article a little!
This time, I want to write about a manga that I have been very hooked on recently: Adauchi Shofu.
This article includes a story overview, my impressions, and some spoilers. If you have not read the manga yet and do not want to know anything about the plot, please be careful before reading 🥺
First, I will start with the questions many readers want answered: “Where can I read it?” and “Where can I buy it?”
Conclusion: you can read Adauchi Shofu on the following platforms. As of June 2026, the series has not ended yet and is still ongoing.
I could not find a site where Adauchi Shofu can be read for free all the way to the final chapter. However, some platforms offer free campaigns where you can read around volumes 1 to 4 for free.
On Kindle Unlimited, volumes 1 to 10 were available to read for free as of June 2026!
If you want to continue the story, I recommend checking ebook platforms that are running discounts, coupons or point-back campaigns.
There are many other places where you can read it, but I have picked up the main services I know.
| Service | Key points | Campaign |
|---|---|---|
| DMM Books | One of Japan’s major ebook platforms, with a large selection of digital books and manga. New users may be able to receive a 90% off coupon depending on the campaign. | 90% off Save up to 2,000 yen |
| Kindle Store | The Kindle Store operated by Amazon. With the paid Kindle Unlimited subscription, more than 2 million titles are available to read. If you already have Amazon Points, this is also a convenient place to buy ebooks. Kindle Unlimited allowed me to read volumes 1 to 10 of Adauchi Shofu: Bloody Revenge After the Massacre of Her Family as part of the subscription as of June 2026. | 70% off Save up to 3,000 yen Only applies to titles that display an eligible discount coupon. |
| Renta! lets you not only buy manga but also rent some titles, making it a good choice if you want to keep costs down. Some works can be read from 110 yen, so it is a great way to discover many different manga titles. | Member rank system available |
There are many other ways to read Adauchi Shofu, but in this article I have focused on the services I personally know and could confirm.
Overview of Adauchi Shofu
As the subtitle Bloody Revenge After the Massacre of Her Family suggests, Adauchi Shofu begins with a young girl whose family is destroyed and who spends her childhood suffering through cruel and inhumane treatment.
When the protagonist Nono is 9 years old, she is sent to work as a servant for the Oikami family. There, she faces discrimination, is framed for stealing a wallet, and both Nono and her mother are subjected to sexual violence.
Later, her mother and two younger sisters are believed to have died in a family suicide. However, with the help of various people, the truth behind that incident gradually begins to come to light.
After losing her family and becoming a courtesan, Nono falls in love, meets trustworthy allies, and begins moving forward on a path toward revenge.
I started reading this manga because I could not stop wondering what would happen next, and I strongly wanted Nono to reach a happy ending someday.
As of June 2026, the series has not yet ended. Volume 11 is the latest volume.
This work portrays the life of a woman who has lost everything and walks through hell with revenge as her reason to live. It is a powerful story that makes you want to support her with all your heart.
About the creator of Adauchi Shofu
The manga artist behind Adauchi Shofu is Junko Iijima.
There is very limited information about Junko Iijima available online, so I will focus on what I was able to understand from the work itself and from reader impressions.
Based on reviews and my own reading, I feel that her style draws attention for its sharp portrayal of social issues and human relationships.
Her representative work, Adauchi Shofu, has captured many readers with its distinctive perspective, story structure and character writing.
The manga deals with realistic human relationships and social problems, and it is characterized by deep emotional insight. The visual elements, including scenery, facial expressions and clothing, also enrich the story.
I feel that Junko Iijima is a manga artist who skillfully depicts suspense, drama and emotional shifts through careful story construction and compelling developments. I also found that she has released short works in the Bunkasha series Stories of Women.
The appeal of the main characters in Adauchi Shofu
The protagonist is Nono Kirishita.
After losing her father at the age of 9, Nono is sent away to work as a servant in order to repay debt. At the Oikami household, she is treated cruelly by the family and the head maid, eventually driven out of the house and forced into life as a courtesan.
Later, driven by revenge, she faces Ume Oikami and the Oikami family with a strong will, while also approaching the truth behind the deaths of her mother and younger sisters.
This story has many important characters surrounding Nono, so I will pick up the ones who especially stood out to me.
Ryogo Ashizawa, the man who has mutual feelings for Nono
Gen Senba, a young man who helps Nono
Ume Oikami, the head of the Oikami family
Sakurako Oikami, Ume’s daughter
Teru Muraoka, the woman who forced Nono into prostitution
Taki Kise, the madam of the brothel
Momomaru and Toshiko, women at the brothel who support Nono
These characters are deeply involved in the development of Nono’s life and relationships.
The story is packed with revenge, mysteries from the past, romance and emotional drama, and I have become completely absorbed in it.
What I find so compelling about Adauchi Shofu

I cannot wait to read the next volume: a fierce story where revenge and love collide
This is the biggest appeal of Adauchi Shofu for me. At the beginning, Nono is treated so cruelly that some scenes are painful to read. Even so, she continues moving forward for the sake of her mother and younger sisters, pursuing revenge with determination.
I ended up buying the manga because I simply had to know what would happen next. As of June 2026, the story has not yet reached its final chapter, so I am really looking forward to the next volume.
The future of Nono and Ryogo Ashizawa’s romance
Nono has lived an incredibly painful life, but she meets Ryogo, a man who does not discriminate against her because of her status or occupation.
The two begin to fall in love and wish to be together.
However, there are many obstacles between them, and the story continues in a way that makes me deeply curious about what will happen to their relationship.
Warm words and actions that support Nono
Because the story is set in an environment where discrimination is strong, many difficult and complicated characters appear. Even so, there are also characters who try to help Nono, offering passionate words, warm encouragement and meaningful actions. Their presence makes this manga very moving.
Which publisher releases Adauchi Shofu?

The publisher is Bunkasha.
Bunkasha is a Japanese publisher headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, and I feel it is especially strong in publishing manga magazines and collected volumes aimed at women.
Does the creator of Adauchi Shofu have an X account?
I could not find an X account for the creator and manga artist Junko Iijima.
If new information appears, I would like to update this article.
Reviews, ratings and reader impressions of Adauchi Shofu
I summarized both positive and critical opinions to look at Adauchi Shofu in a more balanced way.
After looking at common reader impressions on different sites, I found comments like the following.
- (5.0) The beginning is truly awful, but the story is interesting.
The heroine is tossed around by the cruelty of adults. However, seeing her gradually try to move forward makes you want to support her. It is the kind of story that makes you impatient for the next development. - (5.0) The foreshadowing pays off beautifully and makes you want to binge-read it.
Small moments of unease and lines scattered throughout the early chapters return later like blades of revenge. When you reread it, you can see how carefully the details were planned, which makes the story even more immersive. - (5.0) The protagonist’s determination is deeply moving.
No matter how much she is trampled on, her inner strength does not break. The way she moves forward while still carrying her weakness feels very real, and the process of meeting allies who bring light to her path moved me many times. - (5.0) Beauty within cruelty.
The panel composition and contrast are excellent, and even in merciless scenes, the artwork does not lose its dignity. The balance between stillness and motion, as well as the use of empty space, is skillful. - (4.0) My heart hurts unless she finds happiness.
The story begins with the protagonist in a miserable situation, and instead of gradually moving closer to happiness, she continues to suffer. Even so, she does not remain stuck in the same place. Little by little, she approaches the targets of her revenge. - (4.0) I want her to be happy.
This is the life story of a woman born into tragic circumstances. Her life is unbelievably harsh, but I hope she eventually meets someone good and finds happiness without giving in to prejudice. - (3.0) I keep reading it even though it is painful.
The content is brutal, but I still find myself reading more. I want to know how the protagonist will behave from here, so I plan to keep reading. - (2.0) It is too tragic.
I was drawn in by the cover illustration and title and tried reading a preview. Teru, who appears early in the story, is just too awful.
After looking at various sites, I found that opinions are divided because the story includes very intense and tragic content. However, many readers seem to agree on one thing: they cannot stop wondering what will happen next.
I recommend reading the volumes that are available for free first, and then continuing the story if it draws you in.
Personally, I am really excited because I cannot stop thinking about what comes next 😊
Searching for Adauchi Shofu with raw or zip is very dangerous

When people try to read manga online, many search for keywords like “Adauchi Shofu raw” or “Adauchi Shofu zip.” However, this is very dangerous.
Below, I will explain the risks and legal issues.
Risk of viruses and malware
Downloading manga files from unofficial sites carries a very high risk of viruses and malware.
Many of these files are unauthorized scans of legitimate publications, and the sites that provide them often have poor security measures.
Simply opening a downloaded file can install malicious software on your computer or smartphone, steal personal information, or damage important files.
Copyright infringement and legal risks
Downloading manga through raw or zip files is, in most cases, a violation of copyright law.
Manga are creative works, and the authors and publishers hold legally protected copyrights.
These rights prohibit works from being copied or distributed without permission. Downloading manga without authorization violates the rights of creators and takes away their rightful income.
Copyright infringement may also lead to criminal penalties or civil lawsuits, including fines or legal claims.
An ethical issue as well
Buying or reading manga through proper channels is a direct way to support creators.
Only through legitimate purchases does revenue return to the authors and publishers, so it is best to avoid illegal methods.
If piracy continues to spread, the manga industry may decline, and one day we may lose the chance to enjoy new manga.

Finally, let me summarize the main points 😊
