A final battle shaped by friendship after graduation
and the darkness of the underworld
Hello, this is Kanahina 😊
This article explains Dokgo 3, the sequel that follows Yu Kamiyama after he has settled his school revenge as the legendary fighter known as Dokgo.
After graduation, the story moves outside school and into a harsher world of gangs and organized crime. Yu wants peace after avenging his twin brother, but the collapse of his close friend Jin Raido and a new conflict pull everyone back into violence.
The tragedies that strike the main cast make this the darkest part of the series, and the story heads toward its final stage.
Major late-story spoilers and personal impressions are included below, so please read with care if you have not finished it yet 🥺
First, let us check where Dokgo 3 can be read and how to read it at a lower cost.
✅ In short, you can read it here!
On Piccoma, the prologue through episode 75 can be read free with the Wait Until ¥0 system as of August 2025.
Based on my check, Dokgo 3 was available only on Piccoma in Japan at that time✨ Piccoma often runs point-back campaigns and sales, so buying several episodes during those periods is the safest way to save money😊

Meen is a Korean scenario writer known for tightly plotted stories about the darker side of human relationships. The Dokgo series has become a major hit with more than 180 million total views.
Baekdoo is a skilled full-color vertical-scroll artist whose dynamic fight scenes and intense facial expressions give the final chapter its heavy impact.
👥 Main characters
Here are the key characters who shape the brutal final chapter. Their choices and losses bring the revenge story to its climax.
Yu Kamiyama
The central hero of the series and the legendary delinquent once called Dokgo. After avenging his twin brother Shu and graduating from high school, he tries to survive on day labor. When he learns what has happened to Jin Raido, he is pulled back into a new war in the underworld.
Jin Raido
Yu’s longtime friend and a former national wrestling champion. After the previous battles ruin his life, he becomes homeless and seeks help from Nakamoto, a senior who now belongs to a yakuza group. In Dokgo 3 he stands near the center of the tragedy, but his fate is painfully harsh.
Ai Kazami
A nimble fighter and one of Yu and Jin’s trusted friends. After leaving school she works delivery jobs and supports the people around her. In the latter half, she returns as a major force, teaming up with Jin’s brother and pushing the story forward through courage and quick thinking.
Hideo Soda
The biggest enemy in Dokgo 3. He is a powerful figure in the underworld and a brutal knife user. With a mix of cunning and overwhelming strength, he traps Jin and becomes the final barrier in front of Yu and his allies.
Rei Raido
Jin’s younger brother, who looks almost exactly like him. After Jin’s death, he inherits his brother’s resolve and fights alongside Yu and Ai against Soda’s organization. His courage is impressive, but the final chapter gives him a cruel destiny as well.
Nakamoto
A senior from Jin’s high school days and now an executive in a yakuza group. He is the one who brings the homeless Jin into the organization. Although he appears to help Jin, he becomes a key figure whose actions matter greatly near the end.
Chisato
The woman who became Yu’s girlfriend. Quiet, thoughtful and kind, she is an emotional support for Yu. A cruel incident in the middle of the story leaves a deep wound in his heart and adds another layer of grief and anger.
Chikako Kinoshita
A former member of the Numbers and the heroine of the spin-off FLOWERS. In Dokgo 3 she uses sharp judgment and high fighting ability to support Yu from the shadows as an important ally.
Iwase
A young number two in an underworld organization. Cold and calculating, he is one of the men responsible for dragging Jin into a fatal situation. His cruelty makes the story even darker.
Aina
A top hostess working at the luxury club Utopia. Behind her public smile, she gathers information and becomes a valuable source for Yu’s side through her network in the underworld.
Gen Ichijo
The former No. 1 of the Taesan High Numbers and once one of Yu’s strongest opponents. After being moved by Yu’s resolve, he returns as an ally in the final phase, showing real growth across the series.
🌟 What I found compelling

■A human drama that tests friendship and resolve
The strongest appeal of Dokgo 3 is the dense drama around Yu, Jin and Ai. After graduation they take different paths, but Jin’s collapse brings their fates together again.
Jin walks into the darkness, while Yu and Ai struggle with the fact that they could not stop him. The story makes the bond between friends feel almost like family, and asks how people stand up again after losing someone precious.
■A tense conflict set in the yakuza world
By moving the stage from school to society, the series gains a sharper sense of danger. Internal power struggles, betrayal and the fight against Soda create a noir-like action story that rarely lets the reader relax.
The conspiracies and merciless violence make this chapter more mature and more unpredictable than the school arcs.
■A fierce climax worthy of the final chapter
Because this is the final part of the main story, the climax is intense. Major deaths, sudden turns and a final battle driven by grief and anger give the finale enormous heat.
After finishing it, you may feel both the satisfaction of completing a long epic and the loneliness of saying goodbye to the Dokgo world.

🔎 Dokgo 3 spoilers: a quick look at the ending
In the final stretch, Jin remains at the center as he is swallowed by the conflict of the underworld. His fall into homelessness, entry into the organization and turn toward revenge all accelerate until the clash with Soda’s side becomes unavoidable.
Jin dies within a chain of events that no one can fully stop, and Yu heads into the final battle with his rage fixed on Soda. Yu, Ai and Jin’s brother stand together against Soda’s overwhelming forces. Through Ai’s quick thinking and Yu’s resolve, they finally defeat him.
After overcoming Jin’s death, Yu decides to move toward a new future with the people who remain. Later, he visits Jin’s grave, meets Detective Kurata, and is asked whether he would consider becoming a police officer. Yu answers that he will try.
Ai’s exact path is left uncertain, but the scene where Yu tells her to keep searching for Yuri suggests that she continues that mission. The ending then hints at a new beginning for the larger Dokgo universe, including a separate scene with Suga Mijin. The afterword by Meen and Baekdoo also adds an emotional final note for readers.
