The Witch and the Mercenary est l’adaptation manga d’un light novel publié par Micro Magazine sous le label GC Novels.

Many other distinctive characters appear as well. Some are passionate and sincere, while others are cunning, and the story develops through varied encounters.
Enemies and allies who are not human also appear, and battles against magical beasts are a major part of the series.

Un duo improbable qui combat ensemble
Zig and Siarsha originally stood on opposite sides because Zig was ordered to defeat the witch.
But as they understand each other’s circumstances, they begin walking toward the same goal. Moments where they entrust their lives to each other gradually turn hostility into a bond.
Un univers profond et des bêtes magiques
The continent is threatened by magical beasts once sealed away by mages. Wind scorpions, rock dragons and shadow snakes give the world a dangerous texture.
Ancient ruins, lost magic and mysterious relics add depth to the adventure.
Des combats très tendus
Earth rises from the ground, blades scatter sparks, and the action has strong visual power. Zig’s twin swords and Siarsha’s earth magic synchronize in high-pressure battles where one mistake could be fatal.
The fight against the shadow snake in the nighttime ruins is especially memorable.

I looked at both positive and negative opinions to view the series as objectively as possible. Overall, positive reactions are clearly dominant.
